What is a parent coach? A Parent Coach is a Professional Who:
There are times when every parent could use a little help! A parent coach is someone who listens to you, confidentially, and supports you as you strive to be the best parent possible.Kids don't come with a training manual. Sometimes it helps to strategize with a pro to find answers that best meet your family's needs.A sample of topics that would be appropriate for parent coaching include: sibling rivalry, homework hassles, chore wars, rifts in communication, discipline options, bullying, self-esteem issues and work-family balance, to name a few.How Does Parent Coaching Work? All work is done by telephone so it's convenient for you. There's no need to rush to an appointment away from your home and family. I offer day-time and evening appointments so you can choose what works best for you. Generally, sessions last for 30 minutes. You decide what the focus of the call will be and work is done around that issue.E-mail me at toni@familiesfirstcoaching.com or call now (612-810-8687) to schedule a free sample session. During that time, you'll share the parenting concerns you have. Together, we'll decide whether one-on-one coaching, a parent support group or a parent education class might be the best fit for you.Feedback From Clients
